【摘要】:Thistestmethodisdesignedtodeterminethepurityofp-phenylenediamineantidegradants.SincetheresultsofthistestmethodarebasedonanintegratedpeakareaasdeterminedbyHPLC,itisassumedthatallanalytesofinterestareresolvedfrominterferingpeaks.1.1ThistestmethodcoversthepurityofTypeI,II,andIIIp-phenylenediamine(PPD)antidegradantsasdescribedinClassificationD4676byhighperformanceliquidchromatography(HPLC)usingultravioletdetectionandexternalstandardcalculations.1.2ExpertiseinHPLCisnecessarytothesuccessfulapplicationofthistestmethod.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
