【摘要】:Thispracticeisprimarilyintendedtobeusedforthecorrectionofsilverlossinthefireassayprocess.Silvercontentsaredeterminedbyfireassayforthepurposeofmetallurgicalexchangebetweenbuyerandseller.Itisassumedthatallwhousethispracticewillbetrainedanalystscapableofperformingskillfullyandsafely.ItisexpectedthatworkwillbeperformedinaproperlyequippedlaboratoryunderappropriatequalitycontrolpracticessuchasthosedescribedinGuideE882.1.1Thispracticecoversthesilverlosscorrection,utilizingslagrecyclingandcupellationofproofsilverduringthefireassayofmetalbearingores,concentrates,andrelatedmetallurgicalmaterials.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.(SeePracticesE50andISO35:1989.)
