【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandarddefinesthefollowings.?Areferencecomparisonmethod.Thismethodisapplicabletotwocharacterstringstodeterminetheircollatingorderinasortedlist.ThemethodcanbeappliedtostringscontainingcharactersfromthefullrepertoireofISO/IEC10646.Thismethodisalsoapplicabletosubsetsofthatrepertoire,suchasthoseofthedifferentISO/IEC8-bitstandardcharactersets,oranyothercharacterset,standardisedornot,toproduceorderingresultsvalid(aftertailoring)foragivensetoflanguagesforeachscript.ThismethodusescollationtablesderivedeitherfromtheCommonTemplateTabledefinedinthisInternationalStandardorfromoneofitstailorings.Thismethodprovidesareferenceformat.TheformatisdescribedusingtheBackus-NaurForm(BNF).ThisformatisusedtodescribetheCommonTemplateTable.TheformatisusednormativelywithinthisInternationalStandard.?ACommonTemplateTable.AgiventailoringoftheCommonTemplateTableisusedbythereferencecomparisonmethod.TheCommonTemplateTabledescribesanorderforallcharactersencodedinISO/IEC10646:2003uptoAmendment2,pluscharactersDEVANAGARILETTERGGA,DEVANAGARILETTERJJA,DEVANAGARILETTERDDDAandDEVANAGARILETTERBBA(charactersU097B,U097C,U097EandU097F,respectively).Itallowsforaspecificationofafullydeterministicordering.Thistableenablesthespecificationofastringorderingadaptedtolocalorderingrules,withoutrequiringanimplementertohaveknowledgeofallthedifferentscriptsalreadyencodedintheUCS.NOTE1ThisCommonTemplateTableistobemodifiedtosuittheneedsofalocalenvironment.Themainworldwidebenefitisthat,forotherscripts,oftennomodificationisrequiredandtheorderwillremainasconsistentaspossibleandpredictablefromaninternationalpointofview.NOTE2ThecharacterrepertoireusedinthisInternationalStandardisequivalenttothatoftheUnicodeStandardversion5.0.?Areferencename.ThereferencenamereferstothisparticularversionoftheCommonTemplateTable,foruseasareferencewhentailoring.Inparticular,thisnameimpliesthatthetableislinkedtoaparticularstageofdevelopmentoftheISO/IEC10646Universalmultiple-octetcodedcharacterset.?Requirementsforadeclarationofthedifferences(delta)betweenthecollationtableandtheCommonTemplateTable.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotmandatethefollowing.?Aspecificcomparisonmethod;anyequivalentmethodgivingthesameresultsisacceptable.?Aspecificformatfordescribingortailoringtablesinagivenimplementation.?Specificsymbolstobeusedbyimplementations,exceptforthenameoftheCommonTemplateTable.?Anyspecificuserinterfaceforchoosingoptions.?Anyspecificinternalformatforintermediatekeysusedwhencomparing,norforthetableused.Theuseofnumerickeysisnotmandatedeither.?Acontext-dependentordering.?Anyparticularpreparationofcharacterstringspriortocomparison.
