【摘要】:Thisdocumentappliestoconstructiontowercranesandpermanentlymountedtowercranes,poweredbyelectricmotorsorinternalcombustionengines,andanyvariationsthereofwhichretainthesamefundamentalcharacteristics.Thescopeincludescranesoftheabovetypesthatadjustoperatingradiusbymeansofaboom(jib)luffingmechanism,orbymeansofatrolleytraversingahorizontalboom(jib),orbymeansofacombinationofthetwo.Constructiontowercranesandpermanentlymountedtowercranesmaybemountedonfixedortravelingbases.Additionalmountingmeansforconstructiontowercranesmayincludearrangementsthatpermitthecranetoclimbinthestructurebeingbuilt,orthatpermitincreasingthetowerheightasthestructurerisesandutilizingbracesattachedtothehoststructureasneeded.Therequirementsofthisvolumeareapplicableonlytocraneswhenusedinliftingwork.Mobilecranetowerattachments(refertoASMEB30.5)andself-erectingmobiletowercranesarenotwithinthescopeofthisvolume.
